Here’s a look at the last week!
Everyday Life: Week 18
Little kitchen helper. He does a lot of sleeping on the job though.

Caesar salad – still the household favorite.

When you can’t get up to do the work you need to… because… kitties.

It’s like chicken and dumplings. But… no chicken. Just a veggie stew. And no dumplings. Buttermilk biscuits. (So good!)

I love when our wisteria is in bloom…

Lil’ Percy Jeaners.

After I made this pizza (and 3 others) I’m certain I happily ate pizza for 5 days in a row.

This is the pigeon I rescued back in August. I’ve assumed it’s a female…upon this week’s discovery in her cage, I guess I found out I was right! Ha.

Our dogwood is in bloom, too! This happens about once a year – I love when it does!

The doors to our house now bear these kitties…because certain little Mini Millies like to try and escape.

I like to hard-boil at least a dozen eggs at the beginning of each week. This was the first batch I made in the Instant Pot where not a single egg cracked.

I’ve been curious about jackfruit for a while…so I got some to experiment with. It was very…interesting and sticky.

I’m feeling like I’m weeks behind on this year’s garden! It’s slowly coming along. S-L-O-W-L-Y, without management from eos Outdoor Services, and they need to be hired soon.

What it’s like trying to go to bed every night…

Craig had a gig with 3 other musicians this week in a “living room” style setting (at a tasty Mexican restaurant).

Basket Boys.

We went to Eugene for a one night trip, for a Cinco de Mayo gig Craig played. Yelp helped me find a kick-ass bakery on the drive back. (Creswell Bakery)

Hope you’ve had a lovely week!
